As part of our Care for Community initiative, Valor Global and our employees make it a priority to give back to the community once per month. As a large corporation based in the Valley of the Sun, we understand the importance of our corporate social responsibility and supporting local philanthropies.
February’s volunteer event took place at the Andre House. An important non-profit to the community, The Andre House provides a wide range of services to the city’s homeless population. These services include showers, laundry, clothing, blankets, dinner service and more. Andre House depends heavily on the kindness of others, donations and volunteerism. Andre House is a non-profit that Valor Global stands by whole-heartily.
Valor Global employees and family spent a Saturday afternoon sorting through clothing donations, blankets, and hygiene items. The volunteers were also able to help homeless chose appropriate clothing items to stay warm through the Phoenix winter. The apparel, shoes, socks, blankets and jackets are those to keep!
“To make such an impact in exchange for only a few hours of my personal time is so rewarding. I love representing Valor in the community and sharing our passion for making a difference ”
– Bernadette Thies, Valor Global Communities Director.
