Valor Global Hires Seasoned Technology Executive and Maricopa County CIO to Support Rapid Public Sector Growth Nationally

David L. Stevens Joins Valor Global as Executive Vice President of Corporate Relations

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., August 14, 2017 – Valor Global, a Scottsdale, Arizona based call center solutions and managed information technology company welcomes David L. Stevens to its team as Executive Vice President of Corporate Relations. In his new role, Stevens will focus on Valor’s rapid national growth in the public sector market.

“David’s extensive experience in public sector business and as a nationally recognized leader in technology is a major asset to Valor Global,” said Simer Mayo, CEO of the company. “His experience and knowledge of incorporating ITIL and LEAN in IT and call center delivery will allow us to continue to serve national, federal, state, county, education and city governments while expanding our current product capabilities to our customers.”

In addition to bringing strategic planning and an entrepreneurial spirit to his new position, Stevens’ extensive experience in the public sector and building public-private partnerships will support Valor’s growth in serving governments and cities nationwide.

Stevens will join Valor Global starting October 1, 2017. He most recently has been serving as the Chief Information Officer of Maricopa County, the 4th largest and fastest growing county in the nation serving over four million citizens.  Stevens was selected as a Premier 100 Leader by Computer World for demonstrated leadership and strategic vision to meet the needs of technology and business. Stevens has presented nationally and written several published articles, as well as serving on boards. He is a results-driven leader who effectively builds culturally diverse and team-centered organizations that always focus on delivery, customer service, quality and continuous improvement. He has a proven track record of establishing a culture of excellence, reducing operating costs, and successfully leading multi-million-dollar capital projects while mentoring and establishing a highly talented team of executives. Stevens holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees and a national security clearance for his work in Cyber Security.

Stevens also served as the CIO for the Judiciary and worked in consulting and small business in his past. He has developed and architected large-scale software systems and led many multi-million dollar efforts over the years.

Stevens is a proud native of Arizona.  He is a veteran and considers it a privilege and honor to have served our country in the U.S. Army. “I had the opportunity to grow and learn under some of the most demanding challenges – I learned teamwork, tenacity, and leadership.”

Currently residing in Peoria, Arizona, Stevens enjoys hiking, travel, and time with his family – including two dogs. Stevens said he enjoys living in Arizona for the beauty, amazing weather, and outstanding business and community climate.
